Recollections of a Neighbourhood is part history and part memoir of a historic central-Toronto neighbourhood adjacent to the University of Toronto. Editors Nancy Williams and Marie Scott-Baron began gathering reminiscences and illustrations from their neighbours in the late 1980s; after their deaths, friends saw the project to completion. Using archival photographs, maps, and personal stories, the book explores topics as varied as the building of a Victorian suburb and Rochdale College.
